ok im trying to find a good passive omni-tanking set up for a Nightmare if such a thing is possible, cap stability is optional though i would think heat sinks are a must and i need to be able to actually fire my 4 tacs for some time before i need to regen, although officer fittings are not an option due to cash supply faction and some of the lower price plex ones are. |

thank you this is the sort of info ive wanted, ive been amarr so long that shield tanking is a new thing for me and although i have a rough idea all these little hints and tricks are very helpful. its actually nice having a lvl 5 skill not taking 30+days to do for once |

oh just realised i didnt state in the op that i was looking for an omni tank for the mare as i have trouble finding one i trust to use on one of my mauraders for angel/merc missions, the palas can have really strong dual resist tanks but lose it a bit when you streach to omni. Oh and i already have a dg xl booster that came from a plex i did ages ago

it would probably be a good target but then again it will be omni tanked with no great holes in its resists and with a ship like that i wouldnt be one to afk run missions and with a possible tank of 100k shields efted i hope they bring alot of friends

Edited by: Korell Nova on 01/02/2009 18:19:18 so you are going to tank concord and kill a 100k tanked nightmare in a single non cap ship...... nm someone was asking wether it would get suicided in empire and yeah it would be a juicy target but a quite tough nut to crack

Originally by: Grarr Dexx Why do you want an omnitank? Switching hardeners takes less than a minute and it'll boost your tank a lot.
for those missions where a paldin struggles ie the angel/merc ones ive found a tank that works for the drones ones already im just not sure it will hold out in the same way against angels and mercs
i get bored of flying the same bs's all the time and the mare looks cool, is top of the pack damage wise and has the wow factor as well. |
